Last Minute DIY Dad gift!

Last Minute DIY Dad gift!

Fathers Day is this Sunday! If you are like me, you are still avoiding stores and being a little more frugal since the Pandemic started. That leads me here. I knew I wanted to do something special, a keepsake, but also have Owen get involved.
I knew we were going to need a card to write about all the ways my husband is such a wonderful, yet cool daddio, so I got to designing.
I added the three finished cards (I decided on the Good Dads Club for my husband), all blank inside and ready for printing. They are all formatted for  8.5 x 11 standard cardstock/printer paper. Once printed, just fold along the dotted line and bam! A free card without having to wear a face mask to get it!

Okay, now that the cards are all taken care of, it's time to move on to the gift portion. My husband is a sucker for a keepsake photo. We do a twist on one every year, this year is no different. I happen to have a couple of shadow boxes hanging around from a forgotten Christmas idea, I got them from Michaels  , They are on sale and they do the easiest curbside pick up ever! I figured this was the perfect time to put them to use!
Here is what we did:
A simple and sweet little night stand shadow box.
Here's how:
I am really happy with how it turned out. Owen is also very excited as he did most of the work himself! An affordable, mask free project with mostly thing on hand in most households.
Happy Fathers day to all the cool dads out there!
Until next time,
xoxo,
Megan E Badger
