Lucky Charms: DIY Necklaces

Lucky Charms: DIY Necklaces

I know I say this a lot, but this is easily my favorite craft I have ever done for this blog! I was walking through the craft store last week and stumbled upon Shrinky Dinks Paper!!! Do you remember doing those as a kid?? They were my JAM! I immediately knew I wanted to do some sort of charm craft with them. I spoke with my trusty assistant, Owen, and asked what he thought we should do. He decided necklaces, so that is exactly what we did!

First, you will need to gather some supplies: Shrinky Dink paper, I used this kind, make sure you color on the rough side and read directions carefully. Colored pencils, markers or paints. Whatever you want to use to color these bad boys. Scissors, an oven or toaster oven, baking sheet, card stock, a single hole punch, necklace Jump rings to secure your charms to the string, and finally, some sort of string to make these into necklaces. I found this multi colored pack of tee shirt string on Amazon and highly recommend it, but you can seriously use anything. Yarn, bakers twine, string. You could also make key chains, which would be adorable as well! OH, I also found these tassels on Amazon to add to the necklaces!

Now that you have everything, let's go!

AAren't they so cute! I am seriously so obsessed with the finished product!!!II Hope you make these! And as always, if you do, PLEASE tag us! I love seeing  our projects come to life!

Here is a basic template if you would like to use similar charms you see here int his post!

XOXO,

Megan
